Meeting Facilities The FWI All-Hands Meeting will take place at the Stanley Hotel (http://stanleyhotel.com) in Estes Park, Colorado. The Stanley Hotel came highly recommended from several of the Colorado FWI PIs, and it looks like it will be a great spot to hold a productive and energizing meeting. Getting There Estes Park is about an 1.5 hour drive from the Denver International Airport. For directions on how to get to the hotel, please visit: (http://stanleyhotel.com/overview_location.htm). The best options for getting to the Stanley Hotel from the Denver Airport are to either rent a car or to use the Estes Park Shuttle Service. The Estes Park Shuttle has daily service to and from the Denver Airport, with 4-5 trips per day, at 3-hour intervals. To view the Estes Park Shuttle Service schedule and to make a reservation, visit their web site at: (http://www.estesparktransportation.com). One-way travel is $45, and Round Trip is $85. Room Reservations The negotiated room rate for the Stanley Hotel is $119 per night for Tuesday - Thursday nights. In order to guarantee the special room rate, reservations must be made by Monday 24 April. You may make your room reservations at the Stanley Hotel by calling 1-800-976-1377. Mention that you are with the 'Arctic-CHAMP/FWI' group. When you call you will be asked to provide a credit card number to cover one night's stay; this charge is fully refundable if cancelled within 30 days of the meeting. For those that may be interested, the group rates will be honored on a space-available basis for participants wishing to extend their stay beyond the meeting dates. |
